Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of this website. By using the site, you agree to them.

About this website
This website is operated by Lobster Galley Restaurant of 51943 Cabot Trail Road, Baddeck, Nova Scotia. It exists to tell you about our restaurant, gift shop and event room, and to let you get in touch with us.
The site is informational. Using it does not reserve a table or create a contract between us.
Hours, availability and menu
We work to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, accurate or up to date at any given moment.
We are a seasonal business. Opening dates and hours shown on this site are subject to change without notice — because of weather, staffing or the time of year. If you are travelling any distance to visit us, please call ahead to confirm we are open.
Menu items, including live lobster, depend on availability and are not guaranteed.
Food allergies and dietary requirements
We prepare and serve shellfish, fish and other common allergens throughout our kitchen, and we cannot guarantee that any dish is free from cross-contact.
Nothing on this website is a complete or reliable statement of the ingredients in any dish. If you have a food allergy, intolerance or other dietary requirement, please speak to our staff before ordering so we can tell you what is in the food on the day.
Reservations and events
Bookings for the event room, larger groups and catering are arranged with us directly, and any terms we agree at that time — including deposits and cancellation — take precedence over these terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use this site in any way that is unlawful, or that could damage, disable, overburden or impair it, or interfere with anyone else's use of it. You agree not to attempt to gain access to any part of the site, or to any system or data, that is not intentionally made available to you.
You agree not to use the contact form to send unsolicited advertising, or to submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes anyone's rights.
Intellectual property
The content of this site — including text, photographs, graphics and the Lobster Galley Restaurant name and logo — is owned by us or used with permission, and is protected by Canadian and international copyright and trade-mark law.
You may view, download and print pages from this site for your own information and for the purpose of enquiring about our services. You may not otherwise reproduce, republish or use our content commercially without our written permission.
Material you send us
If you send us a message, photographs or other material, you confirm that you have the right to do so. You keep ownership of what you send. You grant us permission to use it for the purpose of responding to you and providing our services. We handle personal information as described in our privacy statement.
Links to other websites
This site links to websites we do not control, including our social media pages. We provide those links for convenience. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or privacy practices of any linked site, and a link does not imply that we endorse it.
Availability
We do not guarantee that this site will be available without interruption or free of errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lobster Galley Restaurant is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data or business, arising out of your use of this website or your reliance on any information on it.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of Nova Scotia.
This section concerns your use of the website. It does not limit our obligations under any contract for services.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the one that applies. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
